In remembrance of David, the most wonderful person who had a heart of gold and a smile to match. He is greatly missed by his wife - Valerie, family, friends and colleagues. I have set up this tribute fund as a way of expressing my and David's thanks for the way the Hospice looked after us both during the last two weeks of David's life, in the hospice section at All Hallows Hospital. I continue to be looked after by the Hospice by way of counselling and complementary therapy which is helping me learn to cope with my bereavement. I would like to raise as much money as I can via donations, selling handmade cards and other handmade gifts. David so loved looking out to sea, people and dog watching at Gorleston Cliffs, Norfolk so there is now a bench on the upper promenade path in David's memory. The verse on it says: You bought sunshine into our lives on days when there was rain. You replaced our sorrows with happiness on the days when we felt pain. The love you gave to others is a gift so priceless, so rare, forever, until eternity. In our hearts you will always be there. In memory of DAVID WHITLOCK beloved husband of Valerie, who passed away peacefully on 16th December 2012, aged 67, after suffering a long illness.
